Don't most of us just want fairer, smoother, clearer skin... Well, I'm not going to say that my handmade soaps will "definitely" attain all those for your skin, but they CAN help. I never wanted to claim that my handmade soaps do whiten skin, but I have received quite a number of testimonies that regular use of BY NATURE Handmade Soaps have made their skin fairer (but of course, one's skin can only go so many shades lighter). I get amazed myself when I do see the difference in their skin tone because I never intended my handmade soaps to be skin whiteners or to even compete with papaya soaps. So when people ask me what I can recommend to them for skin whitening, I would tell them that any of BY NATURE Handmade Soaps can help with the job. For smoother skin, I can testify to this. I am not much of a lotion fan. I'm in my early 30's and I am supposed to be "lotioning up" everyday to keep my skin smooth and supple. But this regimen never really fit in my daily routine. I do try using some (those given to me as presents) but after 3-5 days, I'll find myself skipping the routine. I am a big fan of beauty and "kikay" stuff, but lotion was never one of them. Well, it may be in the genes, but I am very sure that my handmade soaps have helped a lot in keeping my skin moisturized because they leave a very thin coat of vegetable oil and glycerin that help retain moisture. All my handmade soaps have this property but there are those which have extra moisturizing ingredients and they are: Cinnachoco, Cocoa Butter Melt, Golden Honey Oats, and Honey Lemon. The first two have cocoa butter and the last two contain honey and beeswax. Clear skin will follow if you treat it well. Use natural products, as much as possible, and exfoliate your skin every once in a while. Natural products don't usually cause allergic reactions like break-outs (unless one is already allergic to a certain natural substance like peanuts) and exfoliating will help remove dull dead skin and expose new glowing skin. . |

that's the thing. i never intended for any of "My Original 17" to have whitening properties but they seem to be doing the job. i use coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil as base oils, add the scents and natural scrubs (oatmeal, etc.), and that's it!
in fact, i want to share about this lady. she's been using my handmade soaps for some time now. last month, she got a really bad sunburn, especially on her face. but after a month of using my handmade soaps, her skin got fairer, the burnt, dark spot on her forehead is gone, and the color of her face has evened out.
Everyone noticed it as well and complimented her on how fast her skin got fairer. It was amazing!
"Your soaps sound good enough to eat, almost."
- well, they're made mostly of edible ingredients anyway :)
