I usually give my donations to my beneficiaries in December, to make it even merrier for them this time of the year. But for this year, the donations I made will be for another cause, still for the same beneficiaries, but for a different purpose. What recently happened to our countrymen in the south is really sad and tragic. Both donations for my beneficiaries For Breastfeeding and For the Children go to the victims of Typhoon Sendong.
For Breastfeeding, I gave my donation through Medela House because my friend, who's a co-owner, told me that they have a contact in CDO who's a doctor. This doctor is facilitating a whole shelter full of babies and a lot of them are orphaned. Medela House has been sending out donated breastmilk, breastfeeding pumps, cups,..anything to keep those babies breastfed. A lot of food donations have been sent to the city but are not consumable by babies. If you would like to make a donation, you may call Medela House directly to ask what else may be needed by the little angels in CDO. (725.3723 or 738.6272)
For the Children, I gave my donation to UNICEF as I always do. They will take care of whatever is needed by the children victimized by the calamity, to try to make things feel "back to normal" for them. They're children and they do not deserve to undergo prolonged suffering from the tragedy. To make a donation, click HERE.
The third donation goes to my beneficiary For Animals. I'll always have a soft spot for them and this is my way of showing support for organizations like PAWS. This will help sustain their organization to continue doing what they do best -- to help and rescue maltreated animals and to promote their adoption once they are already in very good condition. This gives them a chance to experience living in a happy home with nice and caring owners, unlike from their previous "life". Do you love animals? Are you against animal cruelty? Show your support by sending them your donation. You also have the option to do it on a monthly basis. Click HERE to view your options. If you want to donate in kind, click HERE to see the list of things the shelter badly needs. (Note: once you open the pages, make sure to scroll down so you can view everything.) Once again, these donations were all made possible by you, users and supporters of BY NATURE Handmade Soaps and 100% Natural Products! And to all My Resellers who help continue to share my products, thank you very, very much! You are all a part of this! Maraming salamat muli! |
