I am very excited to announce that I have added two (2) new BY NATURE 100% Natural Products to share with everyone! I know that a lot of people who are using my products have been waiting for this particular one. Well, the wait is over. It's finally here (plus another super handy product)!

Here's why I call them "The Protectors". Introducing...

BY NATURE Handmade Soaps 100% Natural Products

Disinfect It! Spray and Sunblock Away

Disinfect It! Spray (120ml)
Made with the purest and toughest essential oils that fight and kill germs. Use this when water and soap are not available. Spray on dirty hands then wipe dry. May also be used to clean and disinfect dirty objects and surfaces. Be careful not to spray on the face, especially on the eyes. Shake well before every use. For external use only.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Pure Tea Tree Essential Oil, Pure Lavender Essential Oil, Pure Antibacterial and Disinfecting Essential Oils, Acapulco Extract, Vitamin E

NOTE: It is important to use only therapeutic grade essential oils for purposes like disinfecting. Synthetic oils, though a lot cheaper, have no disinfecting properties at all and may actually be harmful. They cannot be used as disinfectants like essential oils.

Sunblock Away (120ml)
SPF 55
Apply all over face and body before going under the sun and get instant protection upon application. May be used by children and adults. If staying directly under the sun, make sure to re-apply every two hours. Immediately re-apply after swimming or excessive sweating. Shake well before every application. For external use only. Keep away from direct heat.

Ingredients: Organic Sesame Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Hazel Nut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Beeswax, Pure Essential Oils, Chamomile Extract, Vitamin E

Disinfect It! Spray has been very helpful, especially for a clean freak like me. I know a little dirt won't harm you, but for my kids, I wouldn't take the risk. Just imagine what their little hands touch in public places. Though washing with soap and water is the best way to go, they're not always available. And so, with Disinfect It! Spray, I just spray their little hands (and mine) whenever they'd want to eat some snacks (which they always do) or when I think their hands need to be cleaned already. As for my husband, he just loves the smell so he always uses it in the car, before and after driving. He says the scent invigorates him. I'm just happy that he has stopped using alcohol to clean his hands and been using this instead.

Sunblock Away gives instant protection against the sun's harmful rays. That's the best thing I like about it (aside from it having a very high SPF of 55). There's no need to wait for 20-30 minutes before exposing yourself to the sun, unlike most sunscreens in the market. There is always a bottle in my kids' bag. Having such erratic weather these days, you'll never know when it will rain or shine. So when the sun does decide to show up and we're already on the road or outdoors, Sunblock Away will instantly give my kids the protection they need. For me, I use it under my make-up when needed. Since I use mineral make-up, Sunblock Away helps it stay put better. It may get a little oily (like all sunblocks and sunscreens do) but I'm not bothered at all because I know that my skin will eventually absorb the good oils that will keep it moisturized. I simply use an oil blotter or tissue to remove the excess oil. No sweat!

Hi Darlene,

I would like to try the Sunblock Away but I've read that Titanium Dioxide is classified as carcinogenic to humans and zinc oxide is known to be an immune system toxin. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.

hi, rozanne! i have also read about that before. they're actually pertaining to nano-sized particles which can penetrate the skin because of their minute size. those of concern are sunblocks with these nano-sized particles, especially the ones that are sprayed on the skin because they can be sniffed and enter our lungs.

the ones i use are bigger in particle size so they cannot penetrate the skin, they just sit on top. there's also no threat in breathing them in 'coz Sunblock Away is in liquid form. :)

but in fairness to titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, they're still one of the best, if not the best, ingredients for sun protection (from UVA, UVB, and UVC rays).
