| Read Your Labels |

We all want to do what's best for our bodies, including ensuring that what goes onto our skin and into our bodies is natural. But sometimes knowing what is truly natural isn't so easy. Right now, a product can be labeled "natural" and it may not include a single natural ingredient. Because of this, we recommend reading your personal care labels as you would your food labels. Source: Burt's Bees' website Please be guided, everyone! Let us all be"smart consumers" and read the labels of all beauty products. As a buyer, I really have this tendency to ask a lot of questions from the owner/seller/saleslady about the ingredients in their products. Though I am already familiar with a lot of natural ingredients, I still want to hear what they have to say because I may learn a thing or two. Their answers (and the way they answer) will also tell me whether I should still try their products or not. Sometimes, even in doubt, I still buy from them to try and test if the product really is what they claim it to be. Eventually, I will know. With more of us "smart consumers" questioning about product ingredients (which ones are natural and safe and which ones are not), the more chances for manufacturers of beauty products (including soaps) to become more conscious with the ingredients they use and more careful with what they claim their products to be. Think about it. |
