~ I N T R O D U C T I O N ~ I am a hands-on mother of two (2) -- our eldest son going 2 years & 8 months, and our newest member of the family going 5 months this July 2007. Having children of my own has made me realize that I have made the right choice of starting this soap-making business in the year 2000. Well, it's not really because of the profit, but it's more of the benefits my husband and children have in using all-natural handmade soaps. I know what's in them and we don't need to use commercial soaps anymore - ever! . Now, about my handmade soaps... BY NATURE Handmade Soaps came about from my interest in aromatherapy and anything natural. I have always wanted to know what I use and put on my body and thought, "What if I made my own stuff? At least I would know what's really in them." Then I started researching on soaps because that is one commodity we use everyday and I loved trying different kinds then. But the more I researched and learned about the truth on commercial soaps, the more I got determined to come up with my own handmade soaps for myself and my family. It was not easy at the beginning. I ended up with batches that did not pass my standards. Some were too dry and crusty, others were too soft, some produced little bubbles, and others lathered but did not bubble at all. Then after quite a number of trial and errors, I finally came up with a batch that was just the right concoction! That batch bubbled with very nice lather. I felt so clean and refreshed after trying it. Not only did it feel like all the dirt and dead skin came off, but my skin also felt very soft afterwards. It did not feel dry at all (COULDN’T scratch the word “dry” on my hands). So, from then on, I stuck with that formulation, simply adding a little of this and a little of that to come up with more varieties. Since then, I have made numerous batches, experimenting on different scents and natural additives (yummy and good stuff). The variants under "Regular Bars" are the ones I made that year I started (update: except for Choco Latte and Milkenhoney, which are new additions). Along the way, do expect some changes. But whatever those changes will be, rest assured, they will be for better and more improved handmade soaps for you to enjoy. You can be sure you are giving your skin only the BEST with BY NATURE Handmade Soaps! . ~ A B O U T ~ Why go for BY NATURE Handmade Soaps? Because they are ALL-NATURAL. BY NATURE Handmade Soaps contain NO chemical preservatives, hardeners or additives. They are made with food-grade vegetable oils such as coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil and are lovingly made using the cold-process method. With this soapmaking method, BY NATURE Handmade Soaps are made completely from scratch. No short-cuts or pre-manufactured bases and you get all the goodness of naturally-formed glycerin, too! The health of your skin depends highly on its moisture content. While commercial soaps are harsh and drying, BY NATURE Handmade Soaps do just the opposite. BY NATURE Handmade Soaps cover your skin with a very thin coat of glycerin and vegetable oil. The glycerin draws moisture from the air and the vegetable oil retains the moisture in your skin. Now, that only leaves you with soft and healthy skin you so truly deserve. . Did you know? Most of the "soaps" you find in stores and supermarkets contain ingredients that do not do your skin any good and are even harmful to your health? Here's why:
A lot of chemicals and synthetic ingredients are not usually disclosed in the "soap" labels. Only the good-sounding ones are indicated on the packaging. This makes it impossible for consumers to be aware of them. Come to think of it, mass-made commercial "soaps" are not really soaps at all. They are, in fact, detergents (yes, those used for laundry) that contain chemical ingredients for cleaning! Can you believe you bathe yourself with those every single day?! These chemicals will, no doubt, clean you but they will also strip your skin off of its protective layer of natural oils. Just imagine the damage it can do on your skin, your body's largest organ! With BY NATURE Handmade Soaps, you will definitely get all the goodness that natural soaps should give. Once you try them, you will NEVER be content with commercial soaps again for you will surely notice the difference! . Know more about what’s in BY NATURE Handmade Soaps. Honey is a wonderful emollient, which softens and soothes the skin. It also has antibacterial properties and it hydrates the skin, helping it maintain its natural moisture. Beeswax is usually added with honey to make a harder bar. It also has moisturizing, emulsifying, and antiseptic qualities. It is an ingredient that is hydrating, which increases the essential moisture of the skin. Cocoa Butter is called "the ultimate moisturizer" because it has been known for centuries to keep the skin soft and supple. It also helps retain moisture and protects dry, chapped skin. Oatmeal, cinnamon, rosemary, and other natural herbs and spices are great for exfoliation. They help remove the dead skin cells that clog your pores, allowing your skin to reveal its freshest layer. Do try BY NATURE Handmade Soaps with these natural ingredients and do your skin a big favor. In return, your skin will bear that soft, fresh, clean glow you've always wanted to have! . How do we get allergic reactions from the bath products we use? During showers, we are vulnerable to chemicals and impurities that can enter our bodies through our open pores. If one is allergic to any of the chemicals contained in the bath products used, an allergic reaction will follow. So why risk it when you can use BY NATURE Handmade Soaps and stay worry-free? Start doing your skin some good and use BY NATURE Handmade Soaps! . Sharing is giving. If you know people who have:
...or those who are simply looking for a natural alternative to commercial "soaps", please share and tell them about BY NATURE Handmade Soaps and to visit this website. . Thank you very much! . |
