BY NATURE Disinfect It! Spray

Disinfect It! Spray (100% NATURAL) - USING IT NOW!

Disinfect It! Spray has been very helpful, especially for a clean freak like me.  I know a little dirt won't harm you, but for my kids, I wouldn't take the risk.  Just imagine what their little hands touch in public places.  Though washing with soap and water is the best way to go, they're not always available.  And so, with Disinfect It! Spray, I just spray their little hands (and mine) whenever they'd want to eat some snacks (which they always do) or when I think their hands need to be cleaned already.

Instructions: Made with the purest and toughest essential oils that fight and kill germs. Use this when water and soap are not available. Spray on dirty hands then wipe dry. May also be used to clean and disinfect dirty objects and surfaces. Be careful not to spray on the face, especially on the eyes. Shake well before every use. For external use only.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Pure Tea Tree Essential Oil, Pure Lavender Essential Oil, Pure Antibacterial and Disinfecting Essential Oils, Acapulco Extract, Vitamin E

NOTE:  It is important to use only therapeutic grade essential oils for purposes like disinfecting.  Synthetic oils, though a lot cheaper, have no disinfecting properties at all and may actually be harmful. They cannot be used as disinfectants like essential oils.

Available in 120ml bottle.

BY NATURE Sunblock Away

Sunblock Away SPF 55 (100% NATURAL) - USING IT NOW!

Sunblock Away gives instant protection against the sun's harmful rays.  That's the best thing I like about it (aside from it having a very high SPF of 55).  There's no need to wait for 20-30 minutes before exposing yourself to the sun, unlike most sunscreens in the market.  There is always a bottle in my kids' bag.  Having such erratic weather these days, you'll never know when it will rain or shine.  So when the sun does decide to show up and we're already on the road or outdoors, Sunblock Away will instantly give my kids the protection they need.

Instructions: Apply all over face and body before going under the sun and get instant protection upon application. May be used by children and adults. If staying directly under the sun, make sure to re-apply every two hours. Immediately re-apply after swimming or excessive sweating. Shake well before every application. For external use only. Keep away from direct heat.

Ingredients: Organic Sesame Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Hazel Nut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Beeswax, Pure Essential Oils, Chamomile Extract, Vitamin E

Available in 120ml bottle.

BY NATURE Baby Salve

Baby Salve (100% NATURAL) - USING IT NOW!

Ever since I came up with this salve, I have been very dependent on it for my boys.  I always bring a jar with me, my kids' general backpack has one in it, and I have another one right here on my computer desk.  It has made dealing with insect bites, minor cuts and wounds so much easier!  I see something reddish on their skin, I apply this and they diminish faster.  I see insect bites (especially on DL2 whose body overreacts with bites), I apply this immediately to prevent further swelling and to hasten the healing.  This also helps them scratch the bites less because of the soothing effect of the salve.  If they get a minor cut, I also apply this (after washing the wound) and it makes the healing faster and "cleaner".  For me, it's a must-have for every household with kids. Smile

Instructions:
Use this salve for most baby concerns - diaper rash, insect bites, eczema, dry patches, and even small cuts and booboos. Simply apply on affected area. May also use all over your baby's body instead of lotion. It is easy to bring along everywhere your baby goes. Even mommies can use this as an evening moisturizer and wake up in the morning with softer skin. Use daily for best results. For external use only. Keep away from direct heat.

Ingredients: Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Grapeseed Oil, Organic Sesame Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Beeswax, Pure Lavender Essential Oil, Pure Blue Chamomile Essential Oil, Calendula Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin E

Available in 20g jar.

Baby Blue - Special Bar                Olive Beauty - Premium Bar .

These two (2) are the best variants for my kids!  Since they both had (and are prone to) eczema (atopic dermatitis, skin asthma), it's best for them to stay away from strong baby products found in the market.

With Baby Blue and Olive Beauty, their skin are kept moisturized and baby soft.  Both variants are unscented, so if you would like to add some scent for your baby's shampoo, you can follow my tips here for Olive Beauty.

Like most mothers, I used to think that smelling like a baby all day would be best for my kids.   That meant using strong-scented baby shampoos and shower gels so the scent would stick on their skin even when they perspired.   But what I wasn't aware of that time was that the longer they used those products, the more they became susceptible to skin allergies.

I also believe that those products triggered their eczema.  We spent a lot on consulting doctors and buying the ointments and creams they prescribed, but they were all in vain.  Then I eventually discovered that using my handmade soaps was actually the best for their skin, no matter how young they were.   So when I started using them on my boys, their skin condition instantly improved.  I was so grateful that I did give my handmade soaps a try, but I also felt so foolish that I didn't begin doing so with our eldest son.  Well, at least they're both eczema-free now and that's all that really matters.

BY NATURE Moisturizing Insect Repellent

Moisturizing Insect Repellent (100% NATURAL) - USING IT NOW!

When I was preparing for our trip to Subic last month (September 2007), I made sure I would bring something to protect my kids from insect bites.  I didn't want to use a chemical-based insect repellent so I thought of making one myself.   I used essential oils that help repel insects, mixed them in a wonderful oil blend, and placed the mixture in a spray bottle. I wasn't able to use it on my sons in Subic since it was raining the whole time we were there.  But when we got back to Manila, I started using it on DL1 because he always gets insect bites on his arms and legs.  It really works! He's been free of mosquito bites most of the time.  Whenever he does get a bite or two, it's always because those pesky blood suckers get to him first before the spray does (usually in the morning when he wakes up). Grrr...

Instructions: Protect yourself and your kids from pesky insects while keeping your skin moisturized all day. Apply all over exposed skin before going outdoors. Re-apply as needed. May also be used as moisturizer after every bath. Use daily for best results. For external use only.

Ingredients: Organic Grapeseed Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Pure Blue Chamomile Essential Oil, Pure Insect-Repelling Essential Oils, Acapulco Extract, Vitamin E

Available in 120ml bottle. . .

BY NATURE Moisturizing Oilotion

Moisturizing Oilotion* (100% NATURAL) - USING IT NOW!

I am a sucker for massages, and for home services, I always use the massage oils I make (so I know what it's made of, no mineral oil or synthetic ingredients).  For my kids, I made a milder version and used all wonderful oils in it.  I made it specially for their dry skin (due to their atopic dermatitis), to use after every bath.  Their skin greatly improved!  I only use my handmade soaps (currently using Baby Blue) on them then either the Moisturizing Insect Repellent or this.

Some doctors would say that oils can clog the pores and would not help with atopic dermatitis, but being a mother who has been doing research on the field of natural skin care, I chose to stick with what I know.  The oils I use are easily absorbed by the skin (you'll know it's so when you're massaging your baby and you have to re-apply a bit more oil for a better glide on the skin).  The next thing you'll know is the skin feels soft and smooth but without the greasy, sticky feeling.  I think the doctors were referring to regular baby oils that are normally made of mineral oil.  No wonder they result to clogging pores, tsk, tsk...

* I came up with this word, "Oilotion", because I couldn't just call it a moisturizing oil since it also serves as a lotion and vice versa. Makes my labeling so much easier, too!

Instructions: Use this instead of lotion after every bath for softer, smoother skin for you and your baby.  May also be used as massage oil for the whole family.  Shake vigorously before pouring to get some of the natural aloe vera gel.

Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sesame Oil, Jojoba Oil, Essential Oils, Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E, and Calendula Extract

Available in 120ml bottle.
