Hi Darlene!

This is long overdue. I just keep forgetting to feedbcak to you....then there was the Christmas rush and then I was away for quite some time. But am back now! =)

Just wanted to tell you that I am a happy user of Baby Salve. This is our all around salve for my baby's diaper rash, insect bite and wounds and burns and rashes. This stuff really works!! Before I discovered your product, I used to use Ilog Maria's Propolis Ointment. Hands down, Baby Salve worked far better  than Ilog Maria's Propolis Ointment. My baby's diaper rash would heal as fast as overnight. The longest was a day. With IM, it would take 2 to 3 days before the rashes would subside and then I'd have a cranky baby on my hands. My old stand-by back then was Desitin (the one from the States since it's thicker. The Desitin sold locally are not so good.). Desitin works just fine but it can be a chore to wash of on clothing since its sticks real well to clothing not to mention the fact that it repels liquid.

I've also recommended the Baby Salve to my friends and they're quite happy with how its treating their own babies' rashes. We've also used Baby Salve on my baby's heat rashes. And the rashes would go away whenever we'd apply the Baby Salve on her skin. Recently, I also fell down the stairs causing the skin on my shin to break open. I applied Baby Salve regularly. No keloids! I'm a keloid-former. So I'm very happy about this. The best news I have for you though is its effect on my sister's rashes. A couple of months back she caught a skin allergy from eating sardines. Her skin broke out in rashes. The rashes were really bad large splotches. It was not only itchy, it was really dark. It didn't help that she scratched some of the rashes, so it turned even darker. She looked like she was beaten up. She used the Baby Salve and her skin started healing up and lessened the itchiness. She's so extremely pleased with your Baby Salve. Mind you, my sister's a doctor with lots of hoard of different steroids ointments that medreps were giving her. She didn't like to use steroids because the steroids thickens the skin.

Recently, I've also recommended this to my masahista who has rashes at the inside of her elbow. She tried it last week. We saw her yesterday and she told me that the Baby Salve was working. She also has been using your soaps for about 3 months or so now and she said people has noticed her complexion is a lot nice now. =) She has dry skin.

I also like your Sunblock Away and Disinfect It! Spray. I really like the fact that this is alcohol-free. I just wish the Disinfect It! Spray had a better scent. The scent reminds me of an old man. haha. Thank goodness though that after this is sprayed on the hands, the scent dissipates after a while.

Hope you could also make a stronger scented line of soaps - love your Gentle Lavender, Sweet Sampaguita, Cinnachoco, Green Tea Escape. I know your lines are more geared for sensitive skin that's why the scent has been minimized.

BY NATURE says: Thanks for your testimonies, Claire!  I sure enjoyed reading them and was amazed with how you guys use Baby Salve and how it worked with your wound -- wow, no keloid!  Thanks for the info on steroids, too!  I'm sure that's something a lot of people don't know about, and that includes me.  As for Disinfect It! Spray, I think you're referring to the first few bottles I released, because the batches now don't have any manly scent at all (well, in my olfactory opinion, haha!).  And you're right, my handmade soap variants are more for those with sensitive skin.  Adding too much scent may make them harsh for sensitive skin use.  I'm sure you'll agree with me on this.

Hello Ms. Darlene, Happy New Year! I just want you to know that Very Oatmeal helped me with my backne, (it is starting to clear up after two baths) and it is my healthier alternative against commercial body scrub that contains harmful chemicals.

Ms.Tet is the one who recommended me to use it.

The ground oatmeal in the soap is never harsh and it is relaxing, I would just have to use my bath lily with it when I want more lather during regular showers, and the bar is my body scrub during weekends... I really like it!

I also love your Olive Beauty, I use it for my face. It is never drying. One benefit I discovered from using all your soaps is that it leaves the face and skin radiant and bright, even though the variants I am using are not for whitening. I get this result everytime.

I will try the variants you suggested to me when I texted you after I finish my bars. Thanks a lot for creating these healthy products!

BY NATURE says: I know that backne is one of the biggest problems of women (and men).  I know 'coz I used to have them when I was younger and it was embarrassing to wear tops that exposed the upper part of my back.  I also know that having them lessen or clear up REALLY removes the "heavy load" on the back!   I'm also glad that you did notice your skin becoming more radiant with regular use of my handmade soaps, something that others get to notice, too, right?  I hope you enjoy the other variants you'll be trying soon!  Thanks for sharing your experience again, Lourdes!

Hi Darlene!

My hubs and I just got back from a trip to Coron. We brought with us a bottle of Sunblock Away and Moisturizing Insect Repellant. I would just like to say that they worked wonders! Hehe. =)

The mosquitoes in Coron were huge! But alas, we got no mosquito bites because as early as 5pm, we would already slather the insect repellant on ourselves. Hehehe. It was also very moisturizing, so our skin felt really soft afterwards. :D

We went island hopping for 2 straight days and normally, when we do that, we would end up not only with darker skin, but we would also be badly burnt. As in the type of burn that's painful when touched. I guess it helped that the Sunblock Away had SPF 55. =D After 2 days of island hopping, snorkeling, and frolicking on beaches under the sun, we just got slightly darker, and we have no sunburns whatsoever! Of course, we made sure to reapply the sunblock after each dip. I didn't think it was absolutely necessary though (to reapply), because it didn't come off easy. Maybe because it was oil based? I dunno. But I know that it worked wonders. Hehehe!

BY NATURE says: Yehey!  Moisturizing Insect Repellent has done it again!  I'm so glad that you and your husband are bite-free from your vacation!  I can also image the pain after being unprotected under the sun for a long time.  I'm really happy that Sunblock Away protected you and your husband from any more skin damages, aside from the slight tanning.  I'm sure Citrus White and Soft 'N Supple Oil Over (Keeping is SMOOTH.) can get you both back to your lighter skin tone again.  By the way, re-applying Sunblock Away is for precationary measures, though it would feel like it stays on your skin even after swimming.  Better to be sure than sorry.
